Spencer Phillips, Founder and Attorney

For more than two decades, Spencer has focused his law practice on helping business owners and employees understand and protect their legal rights.

Spencer has extensive experience with numerous state and federal employment laws, including those dealing with discrimination, harassment, retaliation, disability accommodation, wage and hour laws, and many other important legal issues. He also teaches these legal principles as an Adjunct Professor at the J. Reuben Clark Law School.

Before starting Employer-Lawyer, PLLC, Spencer was a Senior Attorney with the largest employment law firm in the world where he litigated cases in 48 of the 50 United States. He also has experience serving as in-house employment counsel for a multi-billion-dollar publicly-traded company, former Judge for the State of New York, and civil rights attorney for employees and disadvantaged individuals.

When he is not practicing law, you can find him spending time with his family, preferably at the beach.
